minä fazerille: “Hey lil mama lemme whisper in your ear”
Having watched so many isekais now, I think I know what makes me like it as a genre but kinda dislike some series on varying degrees. And it’s commitment to character personality.
I love My Next Life as Villainess not because of the plot or anything new and mindblowing the series does or doesn’t, but because they’re committed to Catarina being super intent on gaming her story to a good ending but also being just absolutely clueless and not managing to intentionally do anything.
And I didn’t like Why Raelina Ended Up at the Dukes Mansion quite as much because while the series depicts her as capable and brave, making these game of chess comparisons in her thinking, they suddenly reduce her to the level of absolutely clueless like Catarina when the plot requires it.
And why I prefer So I’m a Spider, So What to That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime, because Slime/Rimuru doesn’t show much aptitude for strategy or thinking outside “oh so that’s what it does, huh?”, he just gets these OP powers because the story wouldn’t advance if he didn’t. And once he’s powerful, he’s suddenly this strategic genius, whose trick still seems to be to keep the best thing hidden from even the viewer/reader until he’s literally at 1hp.
While Kumoko ponders on all her skill choices and even keeps some stuff un-updated because she just doesn’t know what they do. She thinks about everything she does and acts according to her gamer personality. Which is incidentally also why I absolutely LOVE Log Horizon.
pros of corded headphones:
- Cant lose phone
- dont need to charge headphones
- they look cool and are amazing
cons of corded headphones:
- Every doorknob in existence is now out to get you
glad this was a hit with corded headphone users
cons of wireless as an old wired user
- You forget you’re now wired when charging, resulting in yanked cords and destroyed property
Ok so !! We're finally attempting to open up our Dumas/Musketeer discord server ! So far it was just a very small group of irl friends, and we've only used it privately for a few days after migrating from another app so it's casual and kind of disorganised, but please feel free to join !
There are channels in french and english, so far we've only used french for obvious reasons but I hope we can get international ! See you around !
Bringing this back with a fresh link for newcomers : join us !
Since this post has been made, the server has grown significantly. There are now both french and english speaking channels. You are all welcome to join and participate regardless of whether you've read some Dumas already, if you haven't and you want to start, or if you just like adaptations of the stories ! See you around !
y'all are absolutely free to use tumblr however you please but I want redditors to know that they could, hypothetically, start a sideblog about a particular topic, add moderators to it, turn on submissions (and asks), make an "about" page laying out rules and such, and create a good tagging system. If you want it to be a bit more familiar.
Looking into this. How would a mod team be created? Would they all need to have access to the account the sideblog is on?
I don’t know if anyone’s already replied to this but I didn’t see any on the reblogs so here’s the basic gist of it on the web version:
You make a sideblog, first of all. In this example my old, dead Queen sideblog. On the settings you see members. This has 1 because I, the owner, count as a member.

When you go to that page, you get this view. It shows you as the admin. I’m not currently a mod on any collaborative blogs that are okay so show so I don’t have a pic of what that looks like but it’s basically just a list of blog names who are members. Members can post but not change settings, unless promoted to admin. There can be multiple admins but do make sure you’re all on the same page with it comes to the blog or conflicts can get ugly.
You type a tumblr username or the email address related to that account on that box to invite them. Sometimes you need to do this multiple times because the fucker just doesn’t work. Sometimes it works like intended. It’s a fun game. Also, it will give a link to share if nothing else works. And oh, only main blogs aka your actual username account is valid to invite as far as I know.
No need to password or account share, you all use the shared blog as individuals. On the settings you can choose whether those individual members are shown on the blog avatar as this smaller avatar of the post writers own avatar on the lower right corner or nah.
That’s the basics of it.
I got ID’d twice today~~
Sometimes I get annoyed bc I have bags, I have wrinkles, so people only look at my clothes I guess. But my 39th birthday just around the corner, I guess I don’t mind.
